Creating a safe space for people to share their experiences can make a meaningful difference, especially when they may feel unsure about taking the first step. I also appreciate the clear emphasis on privacy, personal experiences, and finding appropriate support when needed.

I reached out to Kevin anonymously initially & he made the utmost effort to make me feel, human. Alienation & narcissistic behaviour can cause lifelong damage, knowing someone is there to listen, guide or even coach you around such mitigation offers little hope in this often cruel world. Thanks, Kevin! Keep helping others. Atb, J

Thank you John. It’s so difficult to mitigate these situations isn’t it – the ‘normal’ logic seems to go out the window. I hope you’re well and safe.

I first discovered Kevin through his YouTube videos about Child Arrangements Orders. His ability to explain complex and emotionally challenging situations in such a clear, compassionate and understandable way immediately stood out to me.

When I needed support and guidance, Kevin was there. Through our meetings and conversations, he helped me better understand my situation, develop greater awareness and begin the process of healing. His knowledge, empathy and genuine passion for helping others are truly remarkable.

What makes Kevin particularly special is that he brings not only professional knowledge, but also a deep understanding of the challenges people can face through his own life experiences. He has a natural ability to make people feel heard, understood and less alone during difficult times.

During some of the most challenging period of my life, Kevin helped motivate me, encouraged me to keep moving forward and reminded me of the importance of healing and personal growth. His advice and our conversations inspired me to write a book, and he continued to encourage and motivate me to finish it.

I am grateful for his support, his wisdom and the positive impact he has had on my journey. Beyond being an excellent coach and mentor, I consider Kevin a good friend.

I highly recommend Kevin to anyone looking for understanding, awareness and genuine support through difficult life experiences. His dedication to helping people is evident in everything he does, and I know he has made a meaningful difference in many lives, including mine.

Thank you, Kevin, for being there when I needed help and for everything you continue to do for others.

Thank you so much Virgil. It’s been a pleasure to have been part of your forward-moving journey. For the benefit of all, the book is called ‘Snake & Dog’, available on Amazon. It is a perfect book for adults and children, with activities and safe ways for teaching about the different types of people, ‘red flags’ and choices we make.

Kevin was recommended to me during the fallout frpm years of heartbreaking family scapegoating and what I now realise is narcissistic abuse. Kevin has been instrumental in helping me to find empowering ways of thriving beyond the stress of trying to cope with an unsupportive, dystopian family dynamic (being devalued, disbelieved , discredited, gaslit and isolated – and my children groomed over years to believe it’s okay to treat me in seriously unkind ways then estrange themselves from me).

Sadly , I have developed a chronic neurological condition where I have seizures to temporarily take me out of the trauma (our brains are clever but I’ve still been dealing with broken heart syndrome every day).
Certain family members have continued to treat me dismissively, despite my FND diagnosis.

Kevin stepped in with his kind and gentle approach, initially helping me to regulate a very upset nervous system offering new strategies for gaining self-awareness and self-empowerment. He has encouraged me to find ways to return to the capable, confident person I have always been, re-aligned with my fundamental inner strength. Without Kevin’s support , I would have remained in a despairing, disempowered mindset (the role others want the scapegoat to remain in) . Thanks to Kevin’s experience-led expertise, I now feel I’m actively creating a contented life for myself and can separate myself from any disrespect that would disturb my equilibrium. I am here for those who come in peace, stronger, wiser and more protective of all that I am.

I’ve literally just come off my first call and, honest to God, I feel a thousand times better than I did when I went into it.

It was only a 30minute conversation and we haven’t even started the actual coaching yet, but I already feel like I’ve got hope again. I feel clearer, I feel like I can get through this, and for the first time in a while I feel like I’m going to have somebody guiding me through it and holding that space for me.

I came away with about seven different tools I can use when I’m struggling, but more than that, I felt completely seen and heard. Even the terminology being used made me think, yes, this person gets it and knows how to help me.

I will 100% be booking a coaching bundle.

If anybody is sitting on the fence wondering, Do I make the call? Do I not? make the call. I genuinely cannot believe how different I feel after just 30 minutes.

I went into that conversation struggling, and I’ve come out with something I really needed , hope. ❤️

“I work with a number Men’s support group, I’m shocked at the amount of men coming forward sharing exactly what your article talks about.” They have also shared how they feel bullied by professionals linked to their cases / family. Would be interesting to see more talked about.

I only had a couple of sessions with Kevin but found them really heloful. It’s hard to be believed when going through estrangement from adult children. It can feel like everyone assumes that we have done something wrong to end up in this situation. Kevin made me feel heard and understood. I am now awaiting the Court date so that regular contact with my grandchildren can continue. Just because we are estranged from our children shouldn’t mean we lose precious moments with our grandchildren . I also encourage people to find new clinical evidence online clearly pointing to the fact that personality disorders have a 50 to 70 percent chance of being genetically inherited by a parent… this infornation points to nature rather than nurture being the reason for our adult children ending up with NPD. Please see the videos by Dr Peter Salerno fir more information. I no longer take the blame for who my daughter has become. All the Best to you all x

“Advocating for Family Bonds and Greater Media Attention
I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to BBC Radio 4 for bringing to light the profound emotional and legal challenges faced by grandparents and grandchildren as a result of estrangement. The personal stories shared during the segment, alongside the insights from experts in family law and child psychology, have powerfully illustrated the far-reaching effects of broken family bonds. These narratives not only highlight the heartbreak felt by those separated from their loved ones but also underscore the pressing need for greater understanding and compassion within our communities.
The loss of contact between grandparents and grandchildren can have significant emotional repercussions for all involved, often leading to feelings of grief, isolation, and anxiety. As research and lived experiences consistently show, maintaining strong intergenerational relationships is vital for children’s development and wellbeing. Grandparents provide stability, wisdom, and unconditional support—qualities that help shape resilient, happy families. When legal barriers prevent these connections, the impact is felt not just within individual households but across society as a whole, representing a public health concern that cannot be ignored.
Given the importance of this issue, I strongly advocate for continued and expanded media coverage. The campaign Grandparents United: Advocating for Children’s Rights to family bonds, has already garnered recognition from MPs and is due to be featured on BBC Look North, represents a growing movement dedicated to safeguarding children’s rights to a loving family environment. Including our campaign in future coverage will help amplify the voices of those affected and encourage constructive dialogue about the reforms needed in family law. By working together, we can build a more compassionate system that truly prioritises the best interests of children and strengthens family bonds for generations to come.”

While I haven’t done formal counselling sessions with Kevin, I have stumbled upon his public website and videos. His content made me realise that the things that happened to me actually have a name and a recognised place in psychology. This validation completely changed my perspective. It set me off on a several months-long journey of discovery where I’ve been looking deeply into this field, and honestly, it has been a life-changing blast. I also want to add that if I ever considered counselling, Kevin is absolutely the person I would choose to trust with that journey.
If you are hesitating or unsure, please be assured that there are so many things to learn here that will totally change your perspective and your situation. As the saying goes, ‘you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.’
Thank you for putting this work out into the world—it makes a great difference, even to those of us who aren’t official clients.

Thank you Lucy, that means a great deal to me. The only people who ‘get’ it are those of us who have been through it, I know you understand that also. May the continued journey be fruitful and peaceful.
